Podiatry websites can be very expensive. A hosting plan can cost approximately $6.50 per month
and a domain name can run as high as $20 per year. For example if you were to go to
http://www.podiatry.ws
you may end up paying more than $100 per year for a flash website.
The only thing that may be good is the ability to have a potential patient
send an e-mail request for an appointment info, etc...
Please reconsider and keep those local newspaper adds. People still go
to the local newspapers when searching for a podiatrist.
Also why spend any money at all on a website when you can join facebook, etc...
I did not follow the above advice.
Personally I set up more than 150 websites for myself. I guess that
it cost me approximately $10 per year per additional website.
Some feed back please on any experiences other podiatrists had with the
websites they set up.
