Robert Frykgerg will review the advances in wound care. He will review why certain wounds won't heal and what factors affect wound healing. He will discuss the use of various advanced wound healing agents. He will compare these agents and sight multiple studies that show the efficacy of each.

 Goal and Objective
After participating in this activity, the viewer should be better able to:
1. Describe the pathways to ulceration and amputation
2. List 4 contributing factors to chronic wounds
3. Describe the principles of wound care
4. Describe various advanced wound care products and their use in wound healing

Estimated time to complete this activity is 70 minutes.

While a 56Kbps dial-up connection is supported, a Cable or DSL broadband Internet is strongly recommended for optimal video playback.
