Goal and Objective
After participating in this activity, the viewer should be better able to: 1. Understand how oxygen is transported under normobaric and hyperbaric conditions. 2. Know the definition of hyperbaric oxygen treatment. 3. Know the physiologic and pharmacologic benefits of hyperbaric oxygenation. 4. Know the rationale for the use of HBO in hypoxic wounds.
