FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESENT e-Learning Systems to Take Over Management of 2019 LACPMA Treasure Hunt Meeting as LACPMA Becomes Its Newest Alliance Partner
Boca Raton, Florida – April 25, 2018
PRESENT e-Learning Systems (PRESENT) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive agreement with the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association (LACPMA) to take over the management of its Treasure Hunt meeting. The well attended Treasure Hunt meeting has been presented annually by the LACPMA for 37 years and has long focused on practice management issues. With the addition of PRESENT management to Treasure Hunt, the meeting will be expanded in scope from 1 day to 2 days to include CME education and hands-on workshops, and will be moved to a larger venue.
PRESENT CEO Alan Sherman, DPM stated, “We are very pleased to welcome the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association into the PRESENT family and excited to apply our considerable resources and expertise to expanding the scope of their annual Treasure Hunt meeting, while maintaining its widely appreciated practice management programming. We’re looking forward to adding an additional day of exciting cutting edge CME lectures and hands-on workshops, similar to what we offer at our six other annual conferences”. LACPMA President Robert Lee, DPM added, “The Treasure Hunt has been a tradition for the Los Angeles community of podiatrists. For 37 years, it has been the place for local podiatrists to go and network with colleagues and to learn of the latest changes in billing, coding, and health care policy. Year after year, Treasure Hunt played a vital role in enabling Los Angeles podiatrists to be successful in their practices. This new relationship with PRESENT is exciting because it expands the benefits offered to those who attend this meeting. It still offers the “bread and butter” of practice management that our members have come for year after year, while introducing CME, wound care concepts, and surgical skills that each attendee will be able to take back to their practices Monday morning”.
In addition, the LACPMA has become PRESENT’s newest Alliance Partner, joining the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP), the American Association of Women Podiatrists (AAWP), the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine (ACFAOM), the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM), the American Podiatric Medical Students Association (APMSA), the Nevada Podiatric Medical Association (NPMA), the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association (OPMA), the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association (AzPMA), the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA), and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM). PRESENT Alliance partners enter into a cooperative cross marketing agreement whereby they promote each other’s professional activities to their members, with the ultimate goal of improving the podiatry profession and benefiting its members and the industry that supports them.
