Steve McClain, MD discusses the use of microscopy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of common foot diseases. Dr. McClain will review several cases and focus on the treatment of fungal infections to heal chronic wounds.

Nick Bevilacqua, DPM will discuss the common finding for Charcot foot as well as discuss why there is often a delay in diagnosis. Dr Bevilacqua will also review the treatment options for both active and inactive Charcot foot.

Michele Calderaro, MD will present multiple papers comparing conservative management and surgical repair of Achilles tendon rupture. Dr. Calderaro will also compare percutaneous vs. open repair.
