Jeff Jensen, DPM discusses the use of total contact casts to provide faster, more complete healing for a diabetic foot ulcer. Dr Jensen also reviews multiple RCTs and uses off-loading data to support its use. Further, Dr Jensen discusses the newly published consensus guidelines for the management of diabetic foot ulcers through off-loading.
