When the Answer Is No: A Look at Palliative Wound Care When Surgery Is Not an Option

There are many instances when a patient has been told “you need an amputation” such as with chronic stable osteomyelitis, vascular disease, etc when the patient does not want an amputation. We will be looking at some case reviews of patients who have made the choice and “lived to talk about it.”
