Acknowledging that podiatry is a procedure-based specialty, the Superbones Superwounds West 2019 Conference which took place in Las Vegas this past weekend, focused on group hands-on training workshops. Podiatrists from 41 states participated in 10 rotating training sessions which covered a diverse lineup of practical high-tech procedural patient care technologies. Chairman Harold Schoenhaus, DPM shared the lecture podium with conference Founder Stanley Kalish, DPM and Co-Chairs Robert Frykberg, DPM, MPH and Matthew Garoufalis, DPM, CWS. Notable faculty included Jason Miller, DPM, Christopher Bromley, DPM, Michael Troiano, DPM, Marie Williams, DPM, DHL, Jodi Schoenhaus Gold, DPM, and Marlena Jbara, MD.
