PRESENT Podiatry News Flash   May 22, 2020

As podiatrists, we have a major role in limb salvage for diabetic foot pathologies including ulcerations and Charcot. Part of our treatment options to offload these areas of high pressure include surgical offloading procedures and isolated foot amputations. In this review article, Dr Frykberg delves into the role that surgical management plays in offloading and limb salvage for this high risk population.
