Delays in the wound healing process result in excessive treatment costs, potential complications, and impact patient quality of life. Early vs late initiation of NPWT has demonstrated superior wound healing outcomes and cost savings. This webinar will discuss the benefits of early management of a variety of wound types in the outpatient setting utilizing mechanical disposable NPWT (MD-NPWT).

Learning Objectives:

  1. Highlight the negative impact of poor wound healing on both the patient and healthcare system.
  2. Discuss the concept of wound bed preparation and the importance of wound healing trajectory on clinical outcomes and cost of care.
