Managing wounds with moderate to high amounts of exudate can be challenging, even under the best of circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic has made caring for patients with such wounds all the more difficult, as these patients tend to have comorbidities that make them susceptible to developing serious complications from the coronavirus.
